Staff quick start

BetterKin brings kindergarten assessment, teaching resources, administration and family communication into one workspace. The public demo contains fictional K1–K3 classes. Enter made-up information only.

Choose your staff role

• Principal: review the school and configure learning frameworks and report templates.
• Curriculum coordinator: organise curriculum, assessment and resources; review class and level summaries.
• Class teacher: record observations, ratings, attendance and follow-up for assigned classes.
• Clerical staff: handle admissions and authorised office tasks without access to child assessment.

Teaching work

• Child learning assessment: frameworks, observations, ratings and change history.
• Media portfolio: private pictures, short video, audio and work samples.
• Term, annual and batch reports and Word templates.
• Teaching resource library and resource versions and sharing.
• AI lesson planner: simulated drafts, sources and teacher review.
• Development tracking: non-diagnostic teaching follow-up.

Administration, families and websites

• Admissions and attendance.
• Parent communication and parent hub: separately enabled by the school and off by default.
• Website enquiry assistant and kindergarten website.
• Data export and removal and feature updates.

Check save status. If a colleague has changed a record, preserve your draft, reload and review before saving again. The public demo resets regularly and must not be used to store school records.

Use fictional information in the public demo. Uploads, external AI and outbound messages are disabled. School use requires agreed privacy, access and retention arrangements.
