Media portfolio

Evidence belongs to a child and an observed learning item. Each request for a private file checks current class permission.

Attach and review evidence

1. Choose an authorised class and child, then open the portfolio under Portfolio, reports and support.
2. Select an observed item and add the observation date and a short description.
3. School deployments with uploads enabled accept images, short video, audio and PDF work samples. General files are limited to 12 MB, video to 120 seconds and audio to 300 seconds, subject to the school quota.
4. Save and check the preview and child. Images have location metadata removed; files use encrypted private storage.

The public demo blocks uploads and uses original fictional examples. Keep sensitive support information out of ordinary descriptions.

Parent sharing and removal

Adding evidence does not publish it. Parent access, current guardian consent and explicit publication are separately required. Withdrawing consent or publication, or removing a child link, stops later access; downloaded copies cannot be recalled. See parent communication. Removing a portfolio link does not erase the file; follow the privacy workflow.

Use fictional information in the public demo. Uploads, external AI and outbound messages are disabled. School use requires agreed privacy, access and retention arrangements.
