Child learning assessment

Teachers work with assigned classes. Clerical staff cannot access assessment. An unobserved item is not a zero rating.

Record observations

1. Select the class, term, learning framework, theme and item.
2. Enter ratings and short notes in the class grid; check the autosave status.
3. Open change history to see the previous and current values, author and Hong Kong time.
4. If an edit conflicts, preserve your text, reload and review the latest record before saving again.

Frameworks and reports

Principals and curriculum coordinators can create, copy and edit bilingual themes, domains, items, rating scales and comment banks. Used items can be disabled or reordered.

Term and annual reports support Chinese, English or bilingual output and school Word templates. Written observations and comments remain in their original language. Generating a report does not publish it to parents.

Restricted support notes

SEN and non-Chinese-speaking support notes require additional permission. They do not enter reports, charts or AI lesson-planning inputs. Record only what is necessary and keep it out of ordinary observations. Use the media portfolio for evidence and the privacy workflow for complete export or removal.

Use fictional information in the public demo. Uploads, external AI and outbound messages are disabled. School use requires agreed privacy, access and retention arrangements.
