What is new in BetterKin
October 2026: the public kindergarten demo
The public demo offers 14 features with fictional K1–K3 classes and original example resources.
- Staff can record observations, ratings, portfolios and teaching follow-up across terms.
- Term, annual, individual, class and level reports are available, alongside Word template previews.
- The resource library includes search, tags, versions and sharing. AI planning produces simulated drafts requiring teacher review.
- Explore admissions, attendance, parent communication, the parent hub, enquiry assistant and bilingual website editor.
Family features remain off by default. The public demo blocks uploads, external AI and outbound messages. Use fictional information only; temporary changes reset regularly.
School-specific trials and school use require separately agreed functions, permissions, privacy, retention, hosting and training. Availability depends on school configuration and the agreed scope.
