BetterKin by LearnSys is provided by IGEARS TECHNOLOGY LIMITED for authorised kindergarten staff. This notice covers the current fictional public demo and the intended school service. It is separate from the marketplace enquiry notice. School deployment and data-processing terms must be agreed before using real child records.
Children’s records and school responsibility
The school determines the educational purpose, required information and authorised staff. Before collection, the school should explain the purpose, recipients, retention and contact for requests to parents or guardians, and establish any necessary authority or consent. This notice does not replace the school’s collection notice.
The assessment workflow uses child names and class/year links, learning ratings, written observations, report content and staff change history. Child login accounts and HKID numbers are not required. Ordinary observations are not a protected SEN or medical-notes area; do not put sensitive support details there.
Access, hosting and recipients
Teachers access assigned classes; authorised leadership access follows school roles. School records remain under the school’s control. The intended school arrangement is a dedicated Hong Kong VM with its own database and private file storage; actual hosting, backup, support access and retention must be confirmed in the school agreement.
Connection proxies can process network metadata, and required session storage supports sign-in. Approved support or service providers receive only the agreed processing scope; check the LearnSys service register and school notice for active recipients and locations. BetterKin records are not sold for advertising.
Public demonstration
Use fictional information only. The public demo is a separate, temporary environment with resettable example records. It is not a private school workspace. Uploads, external AI and outbound messages are disabled. Do not enter real child, parent or contact information.
Access, correction and help
For school records, contact the school’s designated privacy contact through a verified channel. The school checks the requester’s identity and authority before disclosure, correction or removal and explains any retention requirement. For a demo concern or product question, contact [email protected] without attaching child records or identity documents. Enquiries submitted to the marketplace follow its separate notice.
