The current BetterKin assessment/resource demo does not make AI requests. External AI and outbound messages are disabled. Recorded ratings and reports are staff-entered records, not AI diagnoses.
Future optional AI
AI lesson planning and the website assistant are roadmap features, not part of the current demo. Before an optional AI service is enabled for a school, its provider, processing location, permitted data, training/retention terms, budget and school approval must be documented and verified.
Protect child information
Do not send child names, identifiers, contact information, health or support notes to an AI prompt. No claim of complete anonymisation or a provider’s zero-retention arrangement is established by this page. The school must approve any later data flow and update its notices as required.
Staff review remains essential
Any future generated plan or answer must be clearly labelled as a draft and reviewed by a teacher. It must not diagnose a child, replace professional judgement or be treated as an official curriculum or funding decision.
