A decade of building software for Hong Kong schools.
iGears Technology Limited (科擎科技有限公司) has been building software for Hong Kong schools, kindergartens, and training centres for over ten years. Our current products — EduFlow HK, BetterKin, ECMS, and School Comm — are in daily use in thousands of classrooms.
LearnSys is what happens when we take everything we learned running those systems and start again — this time for training centres and training businesses anywhere in the world.
What we believe
- The money has to be right. Every receipt has to tie back to the cent. Every refund has to leave a permanent trace. You should not need a developer to explain why your books do not balance.
- Operations beat features. A roll-call screen that works at 8:55 AM on a Monday morning is worth more than a dashboard nobody opens. We optimise for the tenth time you use a feature, not the first.
- We stay boring on purpose. Your school runs on this. Our job is to ship updates that do not surprise you, and to keep the version you trusted yesterday working the same way tomorrow.
The team
We are based in Kwai Chung, Hong Kong — a small team of engineers, designers, and education-product people, many of us with children in local schools. We build LearnSys the way we would want our own kids’ schools to run.
