Delete your LearnSys account

You can ask us to delete your LearnSys account at any time, either inside the mobile app or by email. Personal data tied to your account is removed within 30 days; a small number of records (notably invoices and payments) may be retained where the law requires.

How to request deletion

What is deleted

  • Account credentials (email, hashed password, auth tokens)
  • Profile data (name, phone, date of birth, parent/guardian contact)
  • Attendance records linked to you
  • Assessment results and grades
  • Certificates issued to you
  • FCM push tokens registered to your devices
  • Support correspondence linked to your email

What may be retained, and why

  • Invoice and payment records — retained for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years under Hong Kong law). These are the legal records of a financial transaction and cannot be deleted on request.
  • Anonymised aggregate analytics — retained indefinitely; cannot be used to identify you.
  • Backups — encrypted backups containing your data are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle.

Timeline and tenant confirmation

Deletion completes within 30 days of a verified request. If your account was provisioned by a Tenant (training centre, school, or employer), the Tenant administrator may be required to confirm before we delete data they control as data controller. If so, we will notify you and follow up within the 30-day window.
